US electric car company, Tesla, has surpassed Audi in terms of sales in 2020. InsideEVs reports that as of 2020, Tesla registered 200,561 vehicles, surpassing Audi (183,594 units) by nearly 50,000 units.
Solely producing EVS, the high number of Tesla car registrations shows high level of adoption of electric cars in the US.
At the top of the list in 2020 in USA is BMW with 287,259 cars registered, followed by Lexus with 271,384 units and Mercedes-Benz with 265,600 units.
