Malaysians have a lot to say about the 2021 Perodua Ativa following its launch, but there's one more question we know you'd like answered: how much does it cost to maintain it over a 5-year/100k km period? Let's dive in.
The first relatively-expensive service is at the 24-month/40,000-km mark, costing RM 423.12. The bump in cost comes from the change in air filter (RM 53.80), brake fluid (RM 28), and coolant (RM 51.60).

Do keep in mind the most expensive service comes at the 84-month/100,000 km interval, costing RM 841.40. The major costs here are new spark plugs (RM 471.90) and CVT fluid (RM 97.50).
Depending on variant, the Ativa rides on two different tyre sizes:
205/65R16 (X variant only)
205/60R17 (H and AV variants)
Price-wise, expect to pay anywhere between RM 200 - RM 470 per unit for 16-inch ones, and in the vicinity of RM 300 - RM 500 per piece for the bigger 17-inch ones.
