UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has just released a teaser post about its next big thing on its Facebook page. Though there is no mention of what it could be, we're expecting it will be the long-awaited launch of the 2021 Toyota Corolla Cross.
The Corolla Cross will be competing against the likes of the Proton X70, Honda HR-V, and Subaru XV. It will also be UMWT's attempt to rectify the C-HR’s shortcomings.
We can't help but be amused at Toyota's sly dig at Honda with the caption "Why settle for less?" This is a response to the Honda City's "Your Time is Up" campaign.
Previously, we reported a few units that were spied at Westport, Klang. These spyshots indicate that there could be more than one variant of the Corolla Cross offered in Malaysia.
