The Toyota Harrier is considered the daddy (or granddaddy) of the trendy, ever-growing popular crossover SUV segment. With the Malaysian arrival of the all-new Harrier imminent, perhaps you might consider adding a bit more spice to the luxury SUV with this TOM’S bodykit.
The latest iteration of the Harrier was launched in Japan in June 2020 with two engine options: a 2.0-litre Dynamic Force M20A-FKS naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder (172 PS/203 Nm) and a 2.5-litre hybrid A25A-FXS engine (218 PS).
As such, the TNGA-K platform Harrier gets some nice touches in terms of design with its coupe-like style. But if you think that it does not look sporty enough, you might want to check out this bodykit.
For starters, TOM’S gives the Harrier a more enhanced sporty look thanks to the aerodynamic kit which includes front, side, and rear skirts.
For those who think the regular grille on the Harrier is a little too plain, TOM’S has the solution in the form of a sporty mesh grille. The lower side of the grille is opened, so as to not interfere with the engine’s air intake.
The TOM’S Harrier also sits on black, forged aluminium TH05 20-inch wheels which adds a bit more sportiness.
But what makes this Harrier even more special than its regular counterpart is in the back. You can equip your luxury SUV with quad titanium tailpipes, or to put it more correctly, four “TOM’S Barrel”.
Granted, there won’t be any additional power output but TOM’S promises that it can produce a sportier bellow.
The whole bodykit starts from JPY 346,500 (RM 12,963) while the exhaust system starts from JPY 203,500 (RM 7,613).
Seeing how the Harrier became one of the most popular cars in Japan, it is no wonder that demand for the TOM’S bodykit is pretty high with a waiting list of up to 3 months. At least for Malaysians wanting to get the all-new Harrier officially, that wait might be nearing its end.
