Spied: Sci-fi looks and cleaner style for next-gen, 2022 Kia Sportage

Korean carmakers are penning cars that wouldn't look too out of place in any sci-fi movies (have you seen the Hyundai Staria?) and it's a trend that this next-gen 2022 Kia Sportage (codenamed NQ5) aims to follow.
The camouflage obfuscates the details, but at least we can see the bigger picture - the upcoming Sportage trades off the current-gen's bulbous looks for a silhoutte complemented by sharper features.
It looks like there's pointy headlights that sharply converge at the front grille (a bit like the Kia EV6). The roofline gently slopes into a very clean rear-end, with a smooth trunklid and droopy tail lights.
Note too that the air-cond vents are now more angular than the current car's rounded-off design.
Nothing about its powertrain, features or even launch date have been confirmed yet. But what do you think about its design so far? Let us know in the comments section!
