The Prime Minister office has declared a blanket Movement Control Order (MCO) in the whole of Malaysia from May 12 to June 7.
In the statement released on Monday (May 10), Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has declared that Hari Raya visitations will now be prohibited while educational institutions are to be closed.
Meanwhile, vehicles will be restricted to only 3 passengers per trip, including the driver. The restriction will be applied to private vehicles, taxis and e-hailing vehicles.
