Seven years has passed since the current-gen D23 Nissan Navara was first introduced back in 2014, and it's about time for an all-new model. Sources report that it is in the works, and it could be making its debut by 2025.
Following this timing, it means the upcoming Navara will likely be premiered in late 2024, with regional launches happening sometime in 2025 and 2026.
Capitalising on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance, the fourth-gen Navara is said to have Mitsubishi Triton underpinnings, and they'll both share powertrains and common modules as well.
10-year long model lifecycles aren't uncommon for pick-up trucks, so this is par for the course for Nissan. Its closest rivals, the Toyota Hilux and Triton, both saw a decade between their current-gen models and their predecessors.
The Navara we currently have is a major update from the 2015 model, bringing with it technological and performance updates beneath its new look.
