Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has just launched the new 2021 W213 Mercedes-AMG E63S 4Matic+. As before, the model is imported (CBU) from Mercedes-Benz's plant in Sindelfingen, Germany.

The launch of the high-performance E63S 4Matic+ comes after the introduction of the locally-assembled (CKD) 2021 W213 Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift back in July.

The updated E63S 4Matic+ is priced from RM 1,118,888, on the road without insurance. 

At the heart of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63S 4Matic+ lies a biturbo 4.0-litre V8 engine that does 612 PS and 850 Nm, hooked up to a nine-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission.

Coupled with the 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system, this performance sedan is able to complete the century sprint in just 3.4 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 300 km/h.

In terms of exterior equipment, the facelifted E63S 4Matic+ gets the same redesigned front fascia, encompassing new LED headlights, Panamericana front grille, and a revamped front bumper. As part of the AMG Night Package, the front splitter is finished in black.

The AMG Night Package also includes black finishing on the side mirrors, window frames, and exhaust pipe trim. Optionally, customers can also specify their E63S 4Matic+ with the AMG Exterior Carbon Fibre Package I, which includes a carbon fibre front splitter and trim insert in the front and rear aprons.

Round the back, the facelifted E63S 4Matic+ gets the same slim LED tail lights as its regular siblings, as well as AMG-specific quad exhaust tailpipes.

It also gets 20-inch, five-twin-spoke alloy wheels all round, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubbers all round.

Stepping into the E63S 4Matic’s cabin and the most noticeable change are the new displays. There are now two 12.25-inch displays, one for instrument cluster duties, while the other is for the MBUX infotainment system.

Like its stablemates, the MBUX infotainment system can be activated using the “Hey Mercedes” voice command, allowing drivers to control various aspects of the vehicle, including air-conditioning system or weather forecast.

Being a purebred AMG model, the E63S 4Matic+ also includes an AMG menu that displays various information, such as engine data, gear speed indicator, Warm-up, Set-up, G-Meter, and Racetimer.

As before, the E63S 4Matic+ also includes the Dynamic Select drive mode selector, with six options available, namely Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Individual, and Race.

Keeping the driver and passengers in place are AMG seats wrapped in Nappa leather with AMG badge on the front seat backrests.

A whole host of new body colours are available with the 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63S 4Matic+, including polar white, Obsidian Black Metallic, Graphite Grey Metallic, Mojave Silver Metallic, Nautic Blue Metallic, Selenite Grey Metallic, High-tech Silver Metallic, Designo Selenite grey Magno, Designo Spectral Blue Magno, Designo Diamond White Bright, and Designo Hyacinth Red Metallic.
