After the Hongguang Mini EV, Wuling introduces the Nano EV featuring Zootopia's Nick and Judy!

Wuling wants to replicate the explosive success in China they had with the Hongguang Mini EV with the launch of the all-new Wuling Nano EV at the Tianjin Motor Show. For now, the Nano EV is a special edition electric vehicle (EV) featuring the characters, Nick and Judy, from the popular Disney animated movie, Zootopia.
Like the Mini EV, the Nano EV is a full-electric two-seater that has a range of 305 km and has a top speed of 100 km/h. Size-wise, although no official numbers were released, Chinese websites are claiming that the new EV is smaller than even the Mini EV.
This is because the Nano EV is said to be based on the Baojun E200, Wuling’s sub-brand that focuses on small electric cars, as both cars share a massive resemblance.
So, if Wuling did not stretch the car, the Nano EV would measure 2,497 x 1,526 x 1,616 in length, width, and height with a wheelbase of 1,600 mm.
The Nano EV is priced at CNY 58,900 (~RM 38,153), which is just a smidge more than the E200’s starting price tag of CNY 54,800 (~ RM 35,500).
But the Nano EV is much more expensive than the Mini EV as prices for the bigger EV starts at CNY 37,600 (~RM 24,300) and tops off at CNY 43,600 (~RM 28,300).
As we’ve mentioned, the Nano EV is currently a special edition car as the car bears colours and design cues inspired by the characters of Zootopia.
The lime green version is reminiscent of Nick Wilde’s Hawaiian themed shirt in the movie. The EV also features decals that say “Run!” along its side just to add a little fun as Nick had tried running away from Judy.
The lime green colour continues into the dual-tone interior, which is rather spartan.
Meanwhile, Judy Hopp’s version gets a white and pink finish. The decals also illustrate Judy’s enthusiasm for her career as the first rabbit to make it into the police force.
For this interior, designers have added extra details like more pink elements with the word “Disney” emblazoned in pink on the seats.
Designers have even made sure to include a special Judy and Nick emblem on the C-pillar of the car to finish off the entire look.
Many Mini EV buyers have gone viral with the crazy modifications and decorations they have done to their EVs, so it’s not a surprise that Wuling would cash in on the hype and provide buyers with an already decorated Nano EV.
