Ford has just unveiled the all-new, fourteenth-generation 2021 Ford F-150 in the US.
Starting with the design of the all-new F-150, the design isn’t vastly different from the model it replaces – instead, the design has been refined.
As before, the body of the all-new Ford F-150 continues to be built out of aluminium alloy. New active grille shutters help improve the all-new F-150’s aerodynamics. Customers can choose from 11 grille designs.
Ford has also redesigned the interior, giving the top-of-the-line model a massive 12-inch infotainment display. Less variants make do with a slightly smaller 8-inch unit. The instrument cluster can also be had in 8- and 12.3-inch configurations.
Ford’s Sync 4 infotainment come as standard, supporting Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Sync AppLink.
Under the aluminium bonnet is an all-new 3.5-litre PowerBoost hybrid V6, which combines Ford’s EcoBoost engine with a 10-speed automatic that is mated to a 47 PS electric motor housed in the transmission.
Ford has yet to reveal power figures, but said that the all-new F-150 will be the most powerful one in its segment. According to Ford, the new powertrain can deliver an EPA-estimated range of about 700 miles (about 1,126 km to us that use the Metric system) with one tank of petrol.
