When Dinamikjaya, the new distributor of Kia vehicles in Malaysia, put the all-new 2022 Kia Carnival on display, the car was only open for booking and the price stated is an estimated price. Now the distributor has confirmed the Carnival is officially on sale for RM 196,340.
For now, the Kia Carnival is fully-imported (CBU) from Korea though Dinamikjaya has plans to start local assembly (CKD) later this year.
Only one variant of the Carnival is available in Malaysia, the all-new 11-seater MPV is still powered by an improved 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine that is capable of 199 PS and 440 Nm. The diesel engine is mated to an 8-speed conventional automatic transmission.

If you think the Carnival’s new looks resembles an SUV rather than an MPV, that is because designers drew inspiration from SUV designs. The MPV also features a new Tiger Face design, Kia describes the design as a modern twist to the brand’s signature tiger-nose grille.
Inside, the Carnival offers seats that are wrapped in tasteful saddle brown and black leatherette placed in a 2+3+3+3 layout. Each row has its own air-conditioning blowers to keep everybody in the car cool.
A few of the conveniences the Carnival has to offer is dual-zone A/C, wireless charging, multi-Bluetooth connectivity, and up to seven USB ports for charging. The Carnival also features a 12.3-inch high-resolution LCD touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Important MPV features include Smart Power Sliding Doors, Smart Power Liftgate, and Smartkey with one-button open/ close for rear sliding doors and liftgate.

Dinamikjaya is offering a 5-year Manufacturing Warranty and 5-year Free Scheduled Maintenance, both cover a period of 5 years and a mileage limit of 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
