To recap, the all-new 2022 Honda BR-V made its global debut in Indonesia in September 2021, bringing with it an revamped exterior design, updated interior, and crucially improvements in safety levels.

The all-new Honda BR-V is the newest model to receive Honda’s new DOHC engine, replacing the long-serving SOHC unit that powered the first-generation model.
The naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre DOHC petrol engine that also features in the current-generation Honda City outputs 121 PS and 145 Nm.
It can be mated either to a CVT or manual transmission, but we can expect the former to make it to Malaysia.

At long last, the Honda BR-V is available with six airbags, a massive step-up from the predecessor model’s paltry two airbags.
The all-new 2022 BR-V also finally gets Honda Sensing, which includes the following features:
LCDN is the newest addition to teh Sensing suite which also features on the 2022 Honda Civic.

The Honda BR-V goes up against other 7-seater crossovers such as the 2022 Toyota Avanza and the Mitsubishi Xpander.
