GWM assures would-be buyers that spare parts availability won't be an issue in Malaysia, Thailand-supported warehouse in Klang Valley coming

After a brief hiatus, the Haval brand is now back in Malaysia, this time under a new company called Great Wall Motor Sales Malaysia Sdn Bhd that was formally introduced to the Malaysian public earlier today. 

The company has yet to launch any new models, that will come later, but it wants to assure would-be buyers that spare parts is a non-issue. 

"We will set up a spare parts warehouse in Klang Valley to ensure sufficient spare part inventory and link up with Thailand's spare part warehouse and factory resources to ensure the timeliness of spare parts distribution", said Mike Cui, managing director of Great Wall Motor Sales Malaysia Sdn Bhd. 

GWM entered Thailand in February 2021 and took over GM's old plant in Rayong that same month. Local assembly for the Thai-market Haval H6 started in June 2021.

While Great Wall Motor Sales Malaysia Sdn Bhd did not disclose the location of their new spare parts warehouse, its location in the Klang Valley would mean speedy delivery to both northern and soutern regions.
