Subaru Corporation announced that they have cumulatively sold over 5 million vehicles that features their EyeSight technology (Subaru's version of ADAS) since it was first introduced in 2008.

Subaru was the pioneer in using solely stereo cameras for driving assistance providing features such as adaptive cruise control and pre-collision braking that detects not only cars, but also pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists in the vehicle’s path.

EyeSight-equipped models currently account for 91% of Subaru’s global sales.

For Malaysians, the EyeSight technology made its debut in 2018 during the launch of the Subaru Outback. Currently on sale, both the Subaru XV and Forester also comes with EyeSight ADAS suite.
At the time of writing this, the Subaru XV comes in two variants: 2.0i-P EyeSight (RM 139,788) while the 2.0i-P EyeSight GT Edition goes for (RM 146,788).
On the other hand, the Subaru Forester comes with four variants namely 2.0i-L GT Lite Edition (RM 163,788), 2.0i-S (RM 169,788), 2.0i-S EyeSight (RM 179,788) and last but not least 2.0i-S EyeSight GT Edition (RM 187,788).
