Spied: Legit! These are the real right-hand drive Proton X50 interior shots!

Surprise surprise, after months of looking at the Proton X50’s exterior spyshots as it wanders around our streets, we now have very real interior pictures of the B-segment compact SUV.

In this anonymous tip, we can see that the X50’s interior boasts a nice brushed metal/black interior finish. Just like the Geely Binyue its based on too, the X50 gets a fully-digital instrument cluster behind its three-spoke, flat-bottomed steering wheel.

Also note that the 'Trip' button on the stalk is not flipped, and it's actually 'P' and not 'Q' on the gear shift (as per the last rumour we debunked) This is the real deal!

Remember, the Proton X50 is imminent and is expected to be launched on 15-October.

With comments on social media saying that the all-new 2020 Honda City will rain on the X50’s parade, have these interior shots got you thinking twice? Let us know below!

Take a closer look at the interior through Adrian's Geely Binyue review!

HP vs torque: Does torque really matter?
An actual horse doesn’t produce 1 horsepower. It produces about 14.5 horsepower. Confusing, eh? The standard unit for power would be Watts (W) orkilowatts (kW). “Horsepower” just sounds a lot more exciting to say. It’s also something younger car enthusiasts like to boast about to their friends when it comes to their dream supercar. Torque is something else.False advertisement. As you know, the government has issued a 10 percent Sales and Service Tax (SST) exemption for locally-assembled (CKD) cars and a 5 percent tax exemption for imported (CBU) cars. But the exemption is meant to kick in only after June 2020 and applicable for cars that were built in 2020 and not older units built in 2019. BMW Group Malaysia, however, has extended the exemption to their 2019 units as well.In a statement today, BMW Group Malaysia has declared that they will be offering full SST reduct

Many would pay good money to attend advanced driver training school, but this Proton Exora driver seems like he doesn’t need any training to be able to pull a last-minute lane change perfectly! We remind everybody that with great skills, also comes great responsibilities. The incident happened 2 days ago (disregard the date on the video) around the old Serdang area. In the video, we can see a white Proton Exora weaving as it approached the car with the camera before making a dangerous lane
