The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV has been unveiled. As its name suggests, itโs an SUV version of the EQE sedan, based on the dedicated Electric Vehicle Architecture (EVA) platform like the EQS and EQS SUV.

There are five variants of the EQE SUV (two of which are AMG variants) โ EQE 350+, EQE 350 4Matic, EQE 500 4 Matic, EQE 43 4Matic, and EQE 53 4Matic+.
In terms of output, the EQE 350+ has 292 PS/565 Nm that goes exclusively to the rear wheels; the EQE 350 4Matic has 292 PS/765 Nm, while the EQE 500 4Matic gets 408 PS/858 Nm, both of which are all-wheel drive.
As for the AMG variants, the EQE 43 makes 476 PS/858 Nm, while the hotter EQE 53 produces 687 PS/1000 Nm. Both get the AMG Performance 4Matic all-wheel drive system, but the EQE 53 has a fully variable system.

0-100 km/h sprint times for the EQE 43 4Matic and EQE 53 4Matic+ are 4.3 seconds and 3.5 seconds respectively.
All EQE variants get a 90.6-kWh battery pack with a maximum WLTP range of up to 590 km (EQE 350+).
Charging wise, the EQE SUV accepts up to 11 kW AC charging as standard (22 kW optional), 170 kW DC fast charging.
The EQE SUV measures 4,863 mm long, 1,940 mm wide, 1,686 mm tall, with a wheelbase spanning 3,030 mm. Itโs slightly shorter than the BMW iX in terms of overall length (4,953 mm), but has a longer wheelbase compared to the iX at 2,997 mm.

Like the EQE Sedan, the EQE SUVโs interior gets the massive MBUX Hyperscreen that dominates the entire dashboard. Over-the-air (OTA) updates will be available for users to unlock new vehicle functions.
Rear-axle steering is optional on non-AMG variants, standard on AMG variants.
Standard safety equipment of the EQE SUV includes Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Parking Package with reversing camera and Speed Limit Assist.
The status and activity of the systems are shown in a full-screen view in the assistance display in the driver's display. Further options are available in the Assistance Package and the Driving Assistance Plus Package.
