At a media event in Kuala Lumpur today, UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) President, Ravindran K., says that the company has achieved 90,595 units sold in Malaysia to date. The figure includes sales from its Lexus division.
Representing a 44% increase over November 2021, sales are led by the segment-leaders - the Toyota Hilux, Toyota Fortuner, and the popular Toyota Corolla Cross.
In terms of what to expect, Ravindran also mentioned that 'several Toyota bZ4x' cars are here already to undergo testing, and Malaysians can expect the launches of the GR 86, GR Corolla, and the manual-tranmission GR Supra as well.
These are in addition to the all-new 2023 Toyota Vios (D92A) as well as a few more 'hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs)'.
