After its sudden appearance in Thailand, India is the second known country to spot a camouflaged 2023 Honda City (GN-series) sedan, which is going to be facelifted model.
As opposed to the one spotted in Thailand, the set of photos show a more obfuscated car. Usually, this hints a more thorough rework of a car's visuals – think fresh front- and rear bumpers, and perhaps new wheels.

Indian sources say that the City facelift could nab newer interior niceties, possibly bringing things like a wireless charger amidst a slightly updated interior. Speculation also points towards improved Honda Sensing technologies; perhaps the addition of Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN) as other newer models have already got it.
Powertrains typically don't see a major change during facelifts, so our good ol' 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engines, as well as the e:HEV dual-motor hybrid system should soldier on as they are.

No matter what the changes are – details are all yet to be confirmed – the timeline for the City facelift to appear checks out, with Indian sources saying a January launch might be possible. The car itself has been in the market for 3 years (nearly half the typical 5- to 7-year model lifecycle), and don't forget there's the all-new 2023 Toyota Vios (D92A) to worry about as well.
