UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has recently raised prices of the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross. This compact SUV is the third model after the Camry and Corolla Altis to witness an increase in prices.
Effective 3-January, these are the new prices of the Toyota Corolla Cross:

The Toyota Corolla Cross is the first locally-assembled (CKD) Toyota model to have its prices revised; the Camry and Altis are imported (CBU).

Earlier, we've warned that car prices in Malaysia are set to increase and that has materialized, due to an increase in the price of raw materials compounded by the weakening Ringgit as well as the ongoing microchip supply shortage. More brands are expected to increase prices as well; not just Toyota.

Despite the increase in price, specifications and equipment of the CKD Toyota Corolla Cross remain the same. The 1.8 G and 1.8 V variants are powered by a naturally-aspirated 1.8-litre petrol engine that does 139 PS and 172 Nm, while the Corolla Cross Hybrid gets a petrol-electric hybrid system does a combined system output of 122 PS.
