In just a month since the launch of the BYD Atto 3, the company has announced that 500 units have been shipped and are heading towards Malaysia.
BYD Asia Pacific’s Facebook post said, “500 BYD Atto 3s have set off for Malaysia recently, before getting ready to be delivered.
“As it took no more than a month to bring the model forward to consumers after it was launched, BYD once again demonstrates our robust supply chain and in-house production capacity!”
Arriving as fully-imported (CBU) units, prices for the BYD Atto 3 start from RM 149,800 for the Standard variant, and RM 167,800 for the Extended variant.
The Standard variant is equipped with a 49.92 kWh battery, while the Extended range gets a 60.48 kWh one. Both are BYD's in-house LFP 'Blade' batteries.
Late last month, Sime Darby Motors Malaysia - the official distributor of BYD Auto in Malaysia - said that orders for the BYD Atto 3 have surpassed 1,000 units within 10 days since its launch. With 500 units on their way here, it is on track for a Q1 2023 delivery.
The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
