Proton X Watch now available, remotely start your Proton X50 for just RM 1,499

After previewing this watch at last year’s EVM Asia Expo, the Proton X Watch has gone on sale for RM 1,499.

This new watch was developed by ACO Tech and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon system-on-chip (SoC). Like any modern-day smartwatch that’s worth its salt, the Proton X Watch features a 1.3-inch AMOLED display that’s protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass DX+. There’s also a stainless-steel case with ceramic bezels for a more upmarket feel.

According to ACO Tech, the new Proton X Watch allows owners of all variants of the Proton X70 to remotely control various functions of the C-segment SUV, including lights, windows, horn, door locks, and trunk release.

The Premium and Flagship variants of the Proton X50 offers all of the above features, as well as the addition of remote engine start and remote climate control.

On top of being able to control various vehicle functionally of the Proton X50 and Proton X70, the Proton X Watch also offers regular smartwatch functionality, such as offering real-time motion sensing, 24-hour heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring, and up to 8 different sport modes, (running, walking, cycling, and mountain climbing).
