With Agility+, you don't have to worry about resale value of your Mercedes-Benz

Resale value can be a touchy subject on social media. There’s a rather vocal group who are absolutely against even faintest notion of taking resale value into the car buying decision.

Some may question along the lines of “You’re already well-off enough to buy a Mercedes-Benz, why are you concerned about resale value?” Well, unless you’re Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk, money is money and no one likes to lose more than they need to.

People tend to say that cars are a liability but no, cars are depreciating assets. The hire purchase loans tied to them are the liability. With Agility+ (which succeeds Agility Financing), you would get neither the depreciating asset nor the liability.

Agility+ isn’t a loan but a payment plan with repayment tenures between 1 to 5 years and a 10 percent minimum up-front payment, plus annual mileage allowance from 10,000 km to 30,000 km (depending on chosen package).

Further adding value will be the 2 service packages included (limited time only, terms and conditions apply).

Agility+ is designed to provide maximum flexibility and peace of mind. When your arrangement comes to an end, you have the option to settle, extend or return your Mercedes-Benz while the future value of your car is guaranteed.

The locally-assembled (CKD) Mercedes-Benz C200 now retails at RM 292,888. Opting for a 3-year tenure in Agility+, for example, the monthly repayment for a Mercedes-Benz C200 would be only RM 3,788.

In order get those monthly figures from traditional bank hire purchase loans, a quick calculation will tell you that a significantly longer loan tenure is required. And you’d be paying for the depreciation.

Once you’ve reached the end of the repayment tenure of the C-Class after 3 years, you can decide if you’d like to continue driving it or sign up for another brand-new Mercedes-Benz.

Granted, you won’t be owning the car. But for buyers who prefer to avoid further depreciation and potentially higher maintenance cost, this arrangement would make more sense.

That being said, maintenance cost isn’t much of an issue for most Mercedes-Benz customers. Falling behind their peers in having a better, newer Mercedes-Benz however, can be an issue. This is one of the appeals of Agility+ for the highly demanding clientele.

Choosing Agility+ also allows you to enjoy additional benefits from Mobility Plus’ guaranteed car replacement program, should your Mercedes-Benz require more than 48 hours to be left at the workshop for maintenance or warranty claims.

For a premium brand experience, your replacement Mercedes-Benz will be dropped off at your preferred location.
