Watch this Subaru dealer getting wet and dirty to demonstrate the CKD Subaru XV's 500 mm wading depth

It’s not often that car dealers put their money where their mouth is, but Motion Beyond, a Subaru dealer based in Setia Alam did that.

In this short video, Motion Beyond put the Subaru XV through its paces, or in this case, through a water wading course to demonstrate the XV’s 500 mm wading depth.

Naturally, the Subaru XV completed the course without a hitch, cementing its water wading capabilities.

That said, if you need more space than what the Subaru XV offers, perhaps you should check out its larger sibling, the Subaru Forester. The Forester also offers a 500-mm water wading depth, as demonstrated in this video.

As a brief recap, the Subaru XV is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre flat-four engine that does 156 PS and 196 Nm, hooked up to a Lineartronic CVT automatic. Subaru’s famed Symmetrical AWD system deploys power to all four wheels.

The CKD Subaru XV is priced between RM 139,788 to RM 146,788. The Subaru Forester, on the other hand, is imported from Thailand (CBU) and priced between RM 173,788 to RM 197,788.
