VW Golf MK8 are prone to fail

@Hgm Priya

When a car is kaki rosak, people also get fed up. Most people, no matter how rich or how poor, got no time to wait every now and then in the hot sun waiting for the tow truck to come

@Fendi Mercury

European cars are prone to fail.

That is why Honda sells more cars than VW worldwide.

Why people do not choose VW Golf MK8

@Elly Mds

Product malfunction is one thing - after sale service also management malfunction

@Sion X Sho

Was in my shortlist given it's 8at Aisin gearbox but the touch buttons on the steering turns me off

@Glaj Dar

Its a shame but quite high price for a C segment with a 1.4 engine albeit turbo

@Jonathan Cheah

Unfortunately the people’s car is not affordable for Malaysian people

People’s general opinions on the VW Golf MK8

@Weird gear lever

Touch aircond controls

Exorbitant for a C segment

Didn't quite live up with its "Golf" name.. Golf is as legendary and most selling as with the likes of Corolla

@Ahmad Haziq

I was informed from start that it was a limited run model. Nothing surprising.

@KS Lim

Way to expensive against it's competitors in the market, way too few features especially safety. Of course cannot sell la.

@Amir Akmal Jamaluddin

I never saw this variant of the Golf being successful. I mean VW isn’t thinking straight from the start and they’ve even discontinued the Passat lmao.

Future about VW Golf MK8

@KS Lim

VW EVs cannot compare with the flood of EVs coming into Msia market. Just compare VW EV and the rest spec for spec, pricing etc. Imho, VW EVs also not competitive in Msia market.

@Rueben Thomas

Many car companies are moving into electrification hence they are trying to slowly discontinue combustion engine vehicles.

Conclusion
