Thailand is home to Mitsubishi’s all-conquering pick-up truck, the Mitsubishi Triton. The current generation is exported to about 150 countries around the world including Malaysia but after 9 years, an all-new sixth generation will be introduced soon.
For now, though, Mitsubishi Motors has just unveiled the Mitsubishi XRT Concept at the ongoing Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) 2023. Even though it has a different name, this is essentially a preview of what the production version of the all-new 2023 Mitsubishi Triton will look like.

Inspired by the sharp gaze of a hawk, the eventual all-new Triton has a fierce expression on the front and a robust hood that continues to the side with a bold, horizontally-themed style.

While the aggressive look of the outgoing Triton remains on the next generation, the all-new Triton will be built on an all-new platform as evidenced by the lack of the J-line between the cab and the bed.
The concept truck is fitted with front and rear over-fenders along with mud-terrain tyres. Meanwhile, the body is covered in a camouflaged design inspired by lava rocks and is adorned with a 10-parallel line RalliArt brand graphic.
