Masalah fuel pump? Honda tunjuk punca masalah ini!

Honda Malaysia telah memuatnaik sebuah video ringkas yang memaparkan informasi mengenai tabiat pemandu yang suka memandu dengan tangki yang hampir kosong. Tentu ada dalam kalangan pembaca yang mengenali seseorang yang mempunyai tabiat seperti ini.

3 sebab mengapa anda tidak digalakkan untuk memandu dengan tangki yang hampir kosong adalah seperti berikut:

1. Mengurangkan jangka hayat fuel pump

Apabila minyak hampir habis dalam tangki, fuel pump tidak menerima kerja-kerja pelinciran dengan sempurna. Apabila tugas pelinciran tidak dilakukan dengan sempurna, jangka hayat fuel pump akan semakin singkat.

2. Masalah kotoran minyak

Setiap formulasi minyak tetap mempunyai bahan-bahan yang boleh terkumpul dan menjadi mendapan pada bahagian bawah tangki. Apabila mendapan ini disedut, ia mampu merosakkan fuel pump dan enjin.

3. Menyedut udara di samping minyak

Pelbagai masalah akan timbul apabila fuel pump dan komponen lain terdedah kepada udara terlalu lama. Oleh itu, tidak digalakkan untuk memandu dalam keadaan tangki minyak yang kosong.

Kebelakangan ini, memang banyak pengeluar yang melakukan panggilan semula terhadap produk mereka yang berkenaan dengan masalah fuel pump. Honda telah melakukannya pada Jun 2020 yang lepas, Perodua pada bulan Ogos 2020 dan yang terbaru sekali adalah Mazda.

Tidak dinafikan, masalah tersebut merupakan isu yang harus ditangani oleh pihak pengeluar secara proaktif namun rutin penjagaan dan tabiat memandu yang baik adalah lebih penting untuk kenderaan anda.

56,444 vehicles sold in September, but October might see a drop
