The currently-ongoing discounts for Road Transport Department (JPJ) summons have been extended by another 3 days, to 15-December 2021.
Update: The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has also extended the deadline for their summons discounts, which now end on 31-December 2021.
Payments for the JPJ summons can be made at JPJ counters and Urban Transformation Centres (UTC) nationwide, and cashless methods are recommended.
Meanwhile, payment for the police summons can be made at traffic summons payment counters of district police headquarters (IPD) and contingent police headquarters (IPK), the Mybayar Saman app, post offices, and Maybank ATMs.
This follows the closure of JPJ counters at the 100-Day Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia event at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), due to Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP) violations at the event.
It's also reported that JPJ's MySikap online portal is experiencing high volume of traffic, and users might find logging in a bit difficult.
