Audi and VW tweaked their logos to encourage social distancing

Covid-19 has brought the world to its knees with many countries putting a movement restriction or a full-on lockdown in place. Car manufacturers are shutting down factories in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Audi and Volkswagen have adapted their logos to encourage social distancing on their respective posts through Twitter.

By now the phrase social distancing should be familiar. The World Health Organization advises the public to maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

Of course, the logos aren’t changed effectively or permanently. It is a message to all of us that we need to do our part - which is to stay at home - in this fight against the pandemic.
