BMW Malaysia extends its current PHEV battery warranty programme for BMW and MINI vehicles by an additional 2 years and 60,000 km, bringing the programme to 8 years or 160,000 km, whichever comes first.
The new warranty programme applies to the hybrid battery only, the rest of the vehicle is covered by the 5-year unlimited mileage warranty.
From now until 31 December 2020, existing BMW PHEV customers are able to purchase the new hybrid battery warranty as an extension for the BMW 330e, X5 xDrive 40e, 530e, and MINI Countryman PHEV at RM 2,200, and BMW 740Le at RM 7,600.
