Audi has released an appealing version of Audi S8 nearly two years after launching the D5 Audi A8, which is mainly oriented to China, the United States, Canada and South Korea markets.

The new generation of Audi S8 unveiled here is wrapped in Navarra Blue. In terms of the design, the latest Audi S8 has retrofitted dual exhaust outlets, the outer air curtain side mirror caps with a satin aluminium finish. With wheels up to 21 inches in diameter, customers can choose from nine paint colors to match the optional black styling set. Customers can choose HD matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light and OLED taillights according to their preferences.

Audi retained both the virtual cockpits and touch-screen infotainment displays in this generation, only the S-specific graphics gets the modification. Surrounds the cockpit, the S8 obtains a updated upper mosaic carbon vector with a special three-dimensional depth effect. On the power side, S8, like other versions of Audi A8 models, is equipped with the automaker's Mild Hybrid Power (MHEV) technology, which includes a 48-volt belt alternator starter (BAS) powered by lithium-ion batteries. Under the hood is a 4.0-litre twin-turbine V8 TFSI engine, generating 571 horsepower and 800 nautical metres of torque. 

Audi claims that a mild hybrid system helps reduce fuel consumption by as much as 0.8 litres per 100 kilometers in real-life driving.

As for the safety, there are 38 driver assistance systems integrated, which are divided into City and Tour packages including adaptive cruise assistance, traffic jam assistance, lane tracking and prediction efficiency assistance. The City assistant package brings Audi 360-degree pre-sensing system (combined with Audi's front, side and rear pre-sensing system), which works with the predictive active suspension and can instantly lift the body by 80 mm. This will allow the threshold to enter a better position and absorb shock energy, thereby reducing potential damage.
