Come next Tuesday, BMW will be unveiling the all-new G22 BMW 4 Series via live stream.

The lone teaser photo released by BMW confirms that the new coupe will be wearing that massive front grille that was first previewed on the BMW Concept 4.

Yes, it is inevitable that the massive grille is upon us.

That said, putting aside the massive (and controversial) front grille, the upcoming G22 4 Series gains a number of enhancements over the 3 Series Sedan, including additional suspension stiffening, a reduced height, a wider rear track, and a more negative front camber on the front axle.

All of these, according to BMW, help the upcoming G22 4 Series handle better than the 3 Series sedan.

Sitting on top of the line-up is the M440i xDrive, powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six petrol engine that does 374 PS mated to BMW’s 48V mild hybrid. The mild hybrid system contributes an additional 11 PS that improves acceleration.

Apart from the M440i xDrive, BMW will also introduce 420i, 430i, 430d, and 435d variants over the next couple of months. Expect additional body types (convertible and 4-door coupe) to be introduced as well.
