Ford Malaysia has announced that all 19 units of the Ford Ranger Splash have been pre-booked ahead of the Lazada 11.11 Shopping Festival on its Ford Official store on LazMall.

The Limited Edition Ford Ranger Splash was introduced a few weeks ago and it was only available to purchase via e-Commerce, specifically Lazada. It was the first pickup truck in Malaysia to do so.

“We believe that customers are looking for unique experiences and exclusivity in their vehicles. Customers can look forward to more exciting programmes in the coming future, so stay tuned,” said Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz, Managing Director, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion.

The Ford Ranger Splash is differentiated by its all black exterior with fluorescent ‘Ranger Splash’ decals on each side. There are matte black front kangaroo bar, special front grille, side mirror cover, rear bumper, sports bar, alloy wheels and fender flares.

It also features a couple of goodies on top of the base XLT+, which is a built-in toll reader and a 360º Around View Monitor Camera.

The Ranger Splash is powered by a 2.0L Single-Turbo diesel engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, delivering 180 PS and a peak torque of 420 Nm.
