Thailand has just gotten ahold of the Mazda CX-5 Turbo, which was officially launched here last month.
The range topping CX-5 is priced at 1.85m Baht, translating to just over RM 250k. Lucky for us Malaysians as ours are priced at just RM 181k.

To reiterate, 2.5-litre turbocharged engine came straight from its larger sibling - the CX-9. It makes 230 PS and torque output peaks at 420 Nm. Transmission duty is handled by a 6-speed automatic that drives all four wheels.
It might be pricey but the Thai spec CX-5 Turbo gets black headlining, radar cruise control, sunroof, brown Nappa leather seats, and a 10-speaker Bose sound system.
Unlike a few Toyota models that are imported from Thailand, it is the reverse for Mazda as the CX-5 is assembled at the Kulim plant here in Malaysia and gets exported to Thailand.
