We’ve seen spy shots of the new facelifted 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe and noticed that the facelift will feature very stylish head and tail lights, turns out we’re not wrong. Hyundai's new 7-seater SUV will feature a set of very stylish T-shaped headlamps, a vertical version of Volvo's 'Thor Hammer' motif.
The teaser image from Hyundai reveals a very aggressive new look for the Santa Fe. The grille has been completely redesigned and gives the SUV a very bold look. The DRLs are now T-shaped and looks as if it flows through the car body and into the wide grilles.
Although this is just a facelift, Hyundai had actually redesigned the SUV from the ground up. The 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe is the first of Hyundai’s SUV built based on the all-new third generation Hyundai vehicle platform.

Though Hyundai promises the new platform will provide better performance, handling, and safety, the new platform’s main aim is to facilitate the new hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains that the new Santa Fe will come with.
Sales of the new facelift Hyundai Santa Fe will start September this year in Europe. We estimate that the new SUV will only arrive in Malaysia in 2022, but we’re pretty sure that we won’t be getting the hybrid powertrains on offer.
