Images of the supposedly new 2020 Toyota Fortuner facelift has surfaced on the net ahead of its official debut.
The car in question is supposedly the TRD variant as told by the black roof and side mirrors. From the image, we can see that the updated Fortuner will feature sharper and slimmer headlamps as well as a more angular body kit that resembles the Toyota RAV4.
We can just catch a glimpse of the car’s rear bumper and that too appears to be revised. Details of the Fortuner facelift are scarce, but it is reported to be scheduled for Thailand debut sometime in 2020.
That timeline may be pushed back further into late 2020 depending on the Covid-19 global pandemic situation.
Expect the Malaysian market to receive the facelifted Fortuner shortly after the Thai market gets theirs.
UMW Toyota Motor currently offers 3 variants of the Toyota Fortuner priced between RM 171k to RM 195k and are locally assembled (CKD) at their Shah Alam manufacturing plant.
