Remember the Toyota Hilux that was seen rampaging through a Ramadan bazaar just 2 weeks ago? The owner of the pick-up was charged in court on Friday and he pleaded not guilty against the charges of hurling insults at a policeman and attempted murder!
The driver, Kang Ming Han, 32, is a tyre business owner in Klang. He was charged under Police Act Section 90 for indecent act against a police officer by allegedly shouting abusive words at him when he was arrested at the Bukit Sentosa Hulu Selangor Police Station.
If convicted, the accused can be sentenced to a maximum of 6 months imprisonment or a maximum fine of RM 500 or both.

Kang was also charged under Section 37 of the Penal Code for attempted murder against the 3 hawkers at the Ramadan bazaar with his Toyota Hilux pick-up. If convicted, the accused will be facing jail time of up to 20 years or fine or both.
