• Hilux 2.8 Black Edition introduced
• Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on selected Innova and Fortuner variants
• Optional VTS, BSM, RCTA, and rear DVR

UMW Toyota Motor has introduced updated version of its IMV range, which includes the Fortuner, Hilux, and Innova.

Starting with the Toyota Hilux, UMW Toyota Motor has replaced the Hilux 2.8 L-Edition with the Hilux 2.8 Black Edition.

As the name suggest, the Hilux 2.8 Black Edition gets glossy black paint applied to the door handles, fog light covers, side mirrors, and 18-inch alloy wheels. As for the bumper guards and front grille, these are finished in dark grey to give contrast to the Hilux.

Inside, the Hilux 2.8 Black Edition gets a new 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Hilux 2.8 Black Edition is positioned as the range-topping model, with a selling price of RM 139,888 (on-the-road, without insurance).

Moving onto the Toyota Fortuner, both the Fortuner 2.7 SRZ and 2.4 VRZ now receive a new 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Fortuner 2.4 has also been updated with all-round curtain airbags, bringing the total airbag count to 7.

Prices of the Fortuner 2.7 SRZ and Fortuner 2.4 VRZ remain unchanged, while the Fortuner 2.4 is now priced at RM 171,500 (on-the-road, without insurance).

Last but not least, the Toyota Innova 2.0X and 2.0G variants receive the same head unit as the updated Fortuner, featuring a new 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Prices remain unchanged for the updated Innova models.

As an option for the IMV range, the models can be had with the Vehicle Telematics System (VTS), with 3 years of free subscription fee by purchasing the Toyota insurance package. A rear Digital Video Recorder (DVR), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) can also be had as an option.
