At Honda Malaysia's media event today, the company has hinted two 'all-new' models to follow after the recent launch of the 2022 Honda Civic FE.

Looking at the company's recent regional launches, these leaves two main possibilities: the all-new 2022 Honda BR-V, and all-new 2022 Honda HR-V. These launches are said "to excite the market", and with them, new powertrains are hinted.

Though Honda is still keeping mum about the specs of both these cars, VTEC Turbo is mentioned, and this lends credence to our earlier report that says the upcoming HR-V for Malaysia could come with turbo power, alongside a i-MMD petrol-electric hybrid powertrain choice.

Currently, the third-gen HR-V is offered either in hybrid and naturally-aspirated guises. Indonesia will be the first to debut the turbocharged HR-V this month, and Malaysia will follow suit after that.

Malaysians can expect to welcome the all-new Honda HR-V here after June, while timeline for the BR-V is still not clear.

Elsewhere in the same event, Honda Malaysia says that the company will also be exploring their own Certified Used Car programme in 2022.
