Shortly after the leaked photos of the W223 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Daimler AG–the parent company of Mercedes-Benz–published a video on resuming production at the plant. And in the video, Ola Källenius, the Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, teased the arrival of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Most notably, he mentioned that there will be new high tech awaiting in the upcoming months like the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which was wrapped in camouflage in the video.

But we already have a pretty good idea what the new S-Class will look like based on the spy shots. Exterior wise, it’s a familiar new generation Mercedes-Benz design, with L-shaped LEDs in the head lamps and wider horizontal tail lamps.

Inside is where it looks almost completely different from other Mercedes-Benz models. No longer are they slapping two screens across the dashboard, instead, the centre screen is now in a vertical or portrait orientation. Much like Volvos and some Tesla models.

Previously, we anticipated the arrival of the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class to be next year but given what we’ve just learned, it will be make its global debut this year in the coming months.

The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
