Audi has just launched an all-new facelift for the 2020 Audi Q5. The second generation of Audi’s best-selling Q5 crossover had been on sale since 2016 so it's fitting for a fresh new look. The 2020 Q5 looks very sharp with a more distinct Q design language and adds two new colours to its existing 12 – distinct green and ultra blue.

For the first time ever, the redesigned Audi Q5 will feature OLED technology in the rear lights. This optional feature is split into three tiles of six segments which creates different light designs and signatures.

But it isn’t just all tech and a sharper look that makes this Q5 different from its pre-facelift brother. The redesigned Q5 is also 4.68 metres long which is 19 millimetres longer due to the redesigned bumpers. Width and height however remain the same at 1.89 metres and 1.66 metres respectively.

Engine and powertrain also remain the same with a familiar 2.0 litre turbo-4 making 261 horsepower mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with all-wheel drive.

Safety-wise, automatic emergency braking is standard across the 2020 Q5 range with adaptive cruise, active lane assist and blind-spot monitors available as options.

The Q5 will be built in Mexico and is set to be launched in fall 2020.
