![2021 Hyundai Tucson rendering vs old]()
Just days ago, the upcoming new generation 2021 Hyundai Tucson was spotted testing on the roads of South Korea. What car spotters noticed most was the Tucson’s new tail lamps that seem to bear massive resemblance to a concept car that Hyundai had presented and this got the creative juices flowing and renderings of the new SUV started surfacing on the internet.

YouTube channel AtchaCars, in particular, uploaded a video that depicts their rendering of the fourth generation Tucson. Their rendering resembled the Hyundai Vision T concept that Hyundai unveiled last November at the 2019 LA Auto Show.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1670926945518-0'); });
The rendering shows the Tucson shares similar styling queues as the new generation Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Elantra, the first of Hyundai’s line-up to sport a prominent Cascading Grille with Parametric jewel-pattern. The Elantra’s Z-shape impressions on its side profile was also repeated on the Tucson’s rendering.
Overall, the rendering shows the new Tucson with sharper lines and joins the Lamborghini Urus and Lexus NX as an SUV with very sharp lines.
It will not be at all surprising if the fourth generation Tucson will look entirely different from the current generation, Sangyup Lee, the vice president of styling at the Hyundai Design Centre, and Andrew Tuatahi, Hyundai’s product planning manager, have both hinted that the Tucson will have a radical new look.
If the Tucson looks anywhere close to the renderings, this will be the SUV’s best look yet! The fourth generation Hyundai Tucson has a planned world premiere in August 2020 and sales will start in early 2021.

There isn’t a time in memory that doesn’t involve staring at cars. After discovering the excitement of watching Schumacher vs Hakkinen, Formula 1 became a major part of life. The love for cars and F1 ultimately led to a job with CAR Magazine. The untimely death of the magazine meant a hiatus from cars at lifestyle women’s magazine Marie Claire before another opportunity came knocking again.
