Quattro enthusiasts are in for a treat with the launch of the Audi RS6 Avant and Audi RS7 Sportback in Malaysia. The two cars from Audi utilise the same 4.0 litre TFSI V8 engine.

Maximum power output is rated at 600 PS while maximum torque is rated at a massive 800 Nm. All 600 PS is transferred through an 8-speed tiptronic automatic transmission. If it is of any concern, the RS6 is Avant is 10 kg heavier than the RS7 Sportback.

Prices of both cars are near the RM 1 million mark. The Audi RS6 is priced from RM 976,309 while the RS7 starts at RM 988,544. 0-100km/h is achieved in a brisk 3.6 seconds.

Behind the 22-inch wheels are massive ventilated disc brakes to match the power output of the car. Power is transmitted to all 4-wheels via Audi’s Quattro permanent AWD system. Multi-link suspensions are used in the front and rear.
