A senior citizen crashed his Perodua Myvi into the Tesco supermarket in Puchong yesterday. A fast-food employee was injured in the process.
According to the police, the 64-year-old driver had just completed his shopping and was about to leave the supermarket when he stepped on the wrong pedal.
This caused the Myvi to crash through the glass walls and coming to a stop right before a phone accessory kiosk.
A 31-year-old fast-food employee at the supermarket was caught in the crash and rushed to the Serdang Hospital for treatment. The driver was unhurt.
Police are investigating the accident under Section 43 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
