BMW M has introduced the third generation all-new 2019 BMW X5 M. Also introduced alongside the X5 M is the even more powerful BMW X5 M Competition variant.

The 2019 BMW X5 M’s new engine gives the car a push of 750 Nm and a power output of 607 PS. That is a 25 PS power hike compared to the outgoing X5 M.

Meanwhile the all new 2019 BMW X5 M Competition has been tuned to the music of 625 PS while the maximum torque of the X5 M Competition is maintained at 750 Nm, similar to its less powerful sibling. This gives the Competition the ability to make that 0-100kmh sprint in just 3.9 seconds.

Both the X5 M and the X5 M Competition are kitted out with all M-specific upgrades like M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic, M xDrive all-wheel-drive system with a rear biased setup, adaptive suspensions, M Servotronic steering and M Dynamic Mode, just to name a few.

BMW will be premiering both cars at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2019 in November this year. Both models will be launched in major markets starting April 2020.
