Wholesome story alert! After Sinar Harian reported that a flood victim has potentially lost her brand-new Perodua Bezza to the flood, Carsome decided to take action and gift the victim a Carsome Certified Proton Saga.
Nuarjan Sulaiman, 36, and her family only just purchased a Perodua Bezza three months ago. But unfortunately, the family is facing the possibility of declaring the car as a total loss after it was badly damaged during the flood.
After hearing her story on Sinar Harian, Carsome contacted the mother of three to meet up with her. At first, Nuarjan was cautious that it was a scam when they requested to meet up to sign the required documents.
This is understandable considering identity theft in this day and age is rife and giving strangers her details would also directly affect her family. But the Proton Saga arrived two weeks later much to Nuarjan’s elation.
In a report by Sinar Harian, the mother of three expressed how grateful she is to have been given a Proton Saga.
The Saga would be of great use to both her and her family members while they await the fate of the Perodua Bezza. According to Nuarjan, the family has already sent the Bezza to a service centre and are prepared to fork out RM 10,000 in repairs in hopes that the car can still be saved.
Nuarjan also called out to big corporations to extend a helping hand to flood victims because every action no matter how little would help.
There isnât a time in memory that doesnât involve staring at cars. After discovering the excitement of watching Schumacher vs Hakkinen, Formula 1 became a major part of life. The love for cars and F1 ultimately led to a job with CAR Magazine. The untimely death of the magazine meant a hiatus from cars at lifestyle womenâs magazine Marie Claire before another opportunity came knocking again.
