Chery EIUV concept might give clues to the Exeed E03's design direction
Wuhu-based carmaker Chery has announced that their premium electric vehicle (EV) sedan, the Chery Exeed E03, will be launching next year, according to Chinese sources.
It's yet another Chinese answer to Tesla, and this one too has the specs to back it up. Built with an 800V charging architecture and powered by CATL's newest Qilin batteries, Chery says it can go up to 700 km on a single charge.
Quick charging is supported too – good for 200 km of range after just 10 minutes of charging Performance metrics so far is a promised 0-100 km/h time of under 3 seconds. No further information have been revealed yet.
To be built on Chery's EV platform, the Exeed E03 is pulling out all the stops. Early presentation slides leaked on the Internet points to the car getting Huawei's infotainment software (powered by Snapdragon 8295 chips), up to 27 speakers, and of course, level 3 autonomous driving functions.
Exeed is Chery's premium brand – analogous to how Lexus is to Toyota, Infiniti to Nissan – so this car will be a tinge more upmarket than their current offerings.
