The two nominees are the Honda City Hatchback 1.5V and Toyota Vios GR-S.
The Toyota Vios may be the older model between the two here, but it was recently updated back in 2020, whereby the affordable Toyota model received a host of upgrades, including this top-of-the-line GR Sport variant.
Changes from the regular Vios variants include a bespoke front and rear bumpers, larger 17-inch wheels, a smattering of GR emblems, and unique suspension tuning.

As for the second model, the Honda City Hatchback, it replaces the long-standing Honda Jazz in this region.
Based on the GN-series City sedan, the City Hatchback builds upon the Jazz by offering the ingenious Ultra seats. It also offers Honda’s clever LaneWatch camera, which utilizes a camera mounted on the passenger side mirror and outputs the video feed onto the infotainment display, eliminating blindspot in the process.
