Based on the Indonesian- and Thai-spec Innova, the teaser pic on Toyota Malaysia's social media pages and website depicts the slight nip-and-tuck the car gets - pretty much a smaller, trapezoidal grille, rear garnishes and different wheels.
So far, no teasers of the interior has been shown yet and powertrain details are still cloudy - but the engine and transmission combo should be the same 2.0-litre, naturally-aspirated four-cylinder mill (1TR-FE) that makes 139 PS/183 Nm paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Indonesian-spec Innova comes with the usual 7 airbags and a host of passive safety features. Whether or not the Malaysian-spec car receives the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) remains to be seen.
As usual - stay tuned to WapCar.my for everything about the 2021 Toyota Innova.
