If you’re thinking of heading back to your hometown or any inter-state travelling during the next 2 weeks, UM’s dean of faculty of medicine is calling out urging people to reconsider and stay put where they are.
Prof Datuk Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman, or Professor Adeeba, said in a tweet that “The whole idea of this Restricted Movement Order is to… restrict movement… to minimise human contact that can spread the virus. Social distancing is the fancy term for it”
On Monday (March 16), Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin declared that the entire country would be on movement control order starting from March 18-31 in an effort to curb the rise of Covid-19 cases.
