With bookings for the 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift (codenamed D51A) open earlier this morning, checks with dealers points that the model's rumoured launch date could be as early as next week, on 18-November 2021.
Of course, this is still pending any word from Perodua themselves, so this date is still pretty much unconfirmed.
However, CVT confirmed!
Price lists obtained from said dealers also confirms that a CVT-type automatic transmission will be fitted to all variants, replacing the pre-facelift's 4-speed automatic gearbox.
Meanwhile, the manual transmission will be dropped entirely. The engine will remain the same 1NR-VE 1.3-litre and 2NR-VE 1.5-litre, both with Dual VVT-i.
Five variants will be offered, with prices as below:

Prices see a 6 to 12 percent increase across the board, something that's expected owing to the increase in features.
Other than that, the AV variant gains an exclusive Cranberry Red colour. Other colours include Ivory White, Glittering Silver, Lava Red (not available for the AV), Granite Grey, and Electric Blue.
On the inside, sneak peeks show that it'll gain a new steering wheel and infotainment headunit which look similar to the Perodua Ativa's.
Everything shall be unearthed in the near future, so watch this space.
